For three days straight, supporters and enthusiasts of the medical marijuana movement flocked to the Los Angeles Convention Center to take part in what is being hailed as Southern California’s premiere medical marijuana trade show and educational seminar.  All weekend long, attendees took in the sites and browsed the sea of exhibitors learning about all the latest trends in medical marijuana, received legal advice from high profile attorneys, made business connections with merchants and providers in their area, surveyed amazing products from innovative manufacturers and owners, learned about growing and cultivating and took part in educational seminars aimed to make the public more aware of medical marijuana and the efforts of city council members to infringe on the constitutional rights of Los Angeles citizens!  The participation of groups like NORML, Oaksterdam University, Tax & Regulate, 420 Times, 420 Web Pros, Klub Kush and other sponsors and educators helped to ensure that the event lived up and surpassed the expectations of everyone involved, setting the new standard for quality and fun in the medical marijuana trade and educational forum industry!

Mega Productions and all the sponsors of HempCon would like to thank the community of Southern California and beyond for taking such an active and vigorous role in last weekend’s convention.  The excitement and fun being had by individuals at the even was matched only in magnitude by the volume of eager show-goers standing in line to gain access to the convention from the time the doors open until the ticket booths had to close down.  It truly was an event to remember and we couldn’t be more pleased with how the community came out to participate by the tens of thousands!  Stay tuned as this event will be returning to LA in the future and descending upon the city of San Francisco as well in August of 2010!
